RE: Should I choose Video Pro X or Vegas Pro?
Can-Dive was the first person here to suggest that I upload. Then johnebaker. Do whatever you want. The edited file is on Vimeo. And I forgot to tell. The 25p file has in practice no sound because no microphone was connected. I forgot to tell

RE: Movie Studio 2025 Suite and Stereoscopic 3D
@mikeb1955 Did it used to import those files? If you're referring to a previous version of the program which one did import your files? All of the Magix products have imported the files since Sony introduced their 3D camcorders ~2011. Not sure when

RE: Videowandler 2 issues...
I can't find such a cable, and this is indeed an old camcorder. I don't have a firewire port on my PC either, and those firewire cards for the motherboard seem really expensive. I have a USB-C connector, however. I don't know much about how well

[Solved] MEP2016 Plus - Using SD Cards
Hi Gang I picked up a nice used Panasonic HC-V770K Full HD camcorder, (the advantage having an 1/8" Mic Jack Input). It uses SD Cards and I'm thinking about an internal Multi-Card Reader. I have a few questions: When recording an interview, (perhaps

@AAProds I tried you new file but it would not import as MKV or MP4. I'm using MMS2024 and VPX16. You must have something installed on your computer that allows you to import the file as an mp4. Your suggestion to @Gra_Ham to recapture his video's

RE: "Takes" functionality
@CubeAce Hi Ray, .....Ha! Lost in translation I think..... I wasn't lost in translation, but rather because of this text: "Unfortunately, a 4TB drive now lasts less than a year." I continued with this, thinking you meant to imply that an external

@Reyfox Hi Tony . . . . Impressive low light footage! . . . . Agreed, another question re the G9, what is the longest continuous recording time for 4K UHD 50 fps? From the specs it would appear to be 10 mins, do you have any experience of this? I

Dear friends, Definitely nice with so many friendly answers. OK, Vegas is better for audio editing. OK, create account in order to download. I guess that is what I did yesterday, so I hope I can then dowload the manual for both programs and

RE: choppy video
@DanP Some other points: it looks like the HC32 is a NTSC camcorder. Your capture settings should be: NTSC: 720x480, 4:3, 29.97fps. Also, check you have "Composite" (yellow video cable) or "S-Video" (4-pin round-plug cable) chosen for the input on

@Gra_Ham, here are my notes on cleaning. I completed the project in 2017. Initially I used a Sony cleaning tape which was good for digital recordings but as I subsequently learned, not so good for analog 8 mm or Hi8. This is probably due to digital

Thanks for further comments. Yes, I want to be able to export .m2ts.When I edited on my old PC with Premiere Elements, I imported .m2ts files (bitrate 24 Mbps) from the camcorder. After editing the quality looked the same. So I exported .m2ts

@CubeAce Ray, fair enough, so your comments about firewire ports on motherboards, and iGPU P3000 appear to be irrelevant to the issue ta hand, non-response of a HDV camcorder. Why'd you mention them?

RE: Unable to import MKV files into Video deluxe 2026 Plus, Windows 10
@Gra_Ham Hi. An MKV file is what we call a container file. A container file may have one of many different types of codecs within it (The bit that is the actual video file) and that may not be a standard codec or the codec may not have been recorded

All, I've just checked this on my Win 10 machine with the Legacy IEEE1394 Legacy Driver and all is well with Magix and DV camcorders. The problem exists on my Win 11 machine. It has the VIA Win 11 IEEE1394 driver installed.
