  @ChrisBacking5-Knoblach To open MP3 files you need to pay for the "More Tracks and Formats" feature in the Music Maker in-app-store or buy a Plus or Premium Edition. As a workaround you can convert the MP3 files to WAV with a free tool like XMedia

  I also tried dropping the same MP3 file that I want to edit into Movie Studio. There it sounded perfectly fine. So, it's apparently not my sound card, and it is Specifically the Music Maker software.

  I used Instant Replay in AMD Adrenaline software to record the video, which looks and runs perfectly fine. Only once I save the edited video in Movie Maker does the video go into slow motion. Original File Mediainfo GeneralComplete name
