    RE: Saving Audio Mixer settings
Hi Doug, I've done a lot of band recording over the years, both studio and live, audio only and video/audio and still do band videos from time to time. I do though work differently to you though, treating the audio mix as an audio only project

RE: Intermittent Error Message On New VPX installation
Just thought I would post a quick update as we have been using VPX for a week now. Having tweaked a few bits following following the recommendations here and we have had no further problems at all. The colour matching is excellent and Mercalli V4

RE: Using an external mixing desk with Music Maker?
Hi, I agree, nice mixer you have.  The only challenge I see is if you want to record different instruments independantly will be timing (synch).  If all tracks are recorded simulaneously, it should work fine.  For single instruments, you could

Editing Video and Synching - Freezing
When I upload more than one video clip with audio.  The video freezes when I try to edit.  I have converted my clips to wmv to make them smaller, they are now approx. 200MB each.  They were 2.5GB AVI files.  Also I synch videos using the waveforms

    RE: Audio synchronize
Hi, As John suggests, audio synchronization for speech is very challenging, but not impossible.  I regularly have to synch audio from multiple cameras and independant audio recorders.  I do this by watching the audio wave form of each audio

RE: Exported video out of sync - audio ends up playing too slowly
Hello Andrea: Okay.  You may have to resort to a third-party solution.  There is a media player program called VLC.  Have you heard of it?  The program has a neat little feature that will allow you to adjust the out-of-sync nuisance in your

RE: How To Make Very Fine Audio Adjustments To Sync With Video?
@cpc000cpc, I think you have it backwards.  Time shifting is used to synchronize audio that is out of synch for the entire duration of the clip.  Audio or video time stretching is used to synchronize when the audio goes more out of synch over

RE: Where is the "Multicam: Master audio track" selection? See .pdf excerpt below
Thank you Jeff, I had to ask because I once got caught thinking that I could use "multi-cam" to mix two video sources and of course it was a disaster. So, listen to the audio track from both cameras pick the best one and choose that as your

RE: My audio is out of sync with my video how can I edit my audio track?
Hi, 30 seconds of out of sync audio sounds to me like there is something very wrong with your video capture device, or your computer simply cannot handle the transfer due to memory, CPU speed, disc access or some such problem.  Most video editors

Video and audio are out of synch
When I play a video clip from a DXG-5 B6V vtdeo camera from my hard drive in media player the clip plays perfectly synched video and audio. When I import that same clip into MEP17 plus, the audio track is no longer synched. The video clip is H.264

I have exactly the same problem... the audio isn't even close to being synched to the video... it's about 2 seconds adrift on every DVD I burn.  Not happy at all, everything else has gone very well, but this is a basically useless end product.  All
