    Wind Noise
Audio Cleaning Lab 13, how do I remove wind noise from video of a bird singing? Sorry, have not used ACL 13 for some years now and then it was for cleaning music from vinyl.

RE: BAD QUALITY VIDEO when exporting
@AAProds Hi . . . . it killed all the other codecs for image quality, especially during the transitions . . . . It does even for identical resolution/framerate exports HEVC files are significantly smaller and the Average bitrates substantially

RE: HDR Gamma control creates indow on upper left of the movie window
Ray, here's the full program; the MEP monitor window is in second monitor. The one with 1/4 of the video screen is with a Gamma HDR setting; other one is with the HDR control at zero. Before I tried unchecking the Hardware Accelerator for playback,

Anyone have any advice for visual effects? Example, I want to have either birds or stars floating in a circle around the head of someone who was knocked out. I'm looking into Adobe After Effects, anyone have any experience with it?

    RE: Choosing project settings
'As you may gather, I'm conflicted between "If it aint broke, dont fix it" and my curiosity!' Curiosity loses, for now at least. Today I'm back to the 25 and 50 fps settings I was using before. Hi Terry, Remember what happened to the cat. Glad

    RE: microphone levels
Hi, don't use a shotgun microphone you capture all voice and sound like waves or bird. Use a Le Cavalier micro wireless for both poeple. If you use a shotgun you must remove unwanted noise and play with software that is long and tedious work

RE: Should ambient sounds be centred?
@Mitch-way06 Hi . . . . When it comes to natural ambience sounds, such as cars passing and birds tweeting, should you keep them centred, or is it safe to pan them in either the left or right direction? . . . . IMHO that depends on the sound

RE: How to create distance in audio?
@FelixDunn It's not really possible without additional speaker channels, which is why higher end cinemas went down the multi-speaker approach. Hearing and eyesight are really influenced more by the brains interpretations of signals more than the

    How To Open A File?
I have an avi file from a camera. I just want to look at it and cut a couple of frames out and I thought Magix might be the way to go. But incredibly I can't find a way to open the file. I've been peering at microscopic white print on a black

    The Color Yellow
Hi! (MEP most current version.) Would appreciate any suggestions on how to tone down yellow. As some of you know, I make videos of birds. One of them is tan, but that shows as a bright yellow when the sun is on it. I've been applying blue which

Hi Serge, I presume that you are referring to Revolta and DN-e1. I really wouldn't worry about using the preset sounds any more than those on an electronic keyboard, and just like all VST's. You still have to make you own composition by pressing on

I assume the jog wheel is mouse controlled only. Once I'm using the keyboard, I find it quicker to stay with it. I appreciate MEP's use of lots of keyboard controls. The job wheel is a good extra. I appreciate what you are saying Kami but I don't

    RE: MPG vs. 1080P
Hi, thanks again for the deytailed reply. You don't see "artifacts" at 50 or 60 fps? What's most important to me is clean, sharp details without "artifacts." I have plenty of HD space. Being in NYC, my only choice is NTSC. I could be wrong, but the

    RE: MPG vs. 1080P
Hi Kami A higher frame rate is used to give you more fluid action and panning in progressive recordings, rather than having an effect on detail or sharpness. The thing that is relevant to compression, when you set a target bit rate in your export

    RE: Trouble saving imported video
I have solved the problem myself. I made sure that the path to the folder for saving the project and the video was on my computer and not to my Storage Bird. They have different file systems i.e. NTFS and Fat32. This worked.

RE: I'd like to know if others are experiencing problems I'm having with MEP 2016 Premium
Hi Kami, It's mostly in the amount of control over the area to be sharpened (or blurred). I did find that the amount of sharpening in Pixelan was slightly greater, not necessarily better, than what is in MEP. However, if your imgage is blurry to
