RE: Problem with exported DVD
@johnebaker Hi John, Many thanks for sticking with me on this! The client left me 5 VHS tapes; 4 have transferred and exported to DVD without problem (though no discs burned yet), 3 are single-layer, 1 is dual. The two-tape set is indeed a part 1

RE: Lines in digitized VHS
@MovieEditorr Did you deinterlace the recorded footage? Analog video images are saved in lines and only contain half of the full video frame. Each frame switches back and forth between even- and odd numbered lines. So, if you didn't deinterlace the

RE: Windows does not find drivers for the video grabber usb device
I have tested to play many different videos in the player, same problem. Scart is in out mode, and all 3 color cables are firmly connected. This is what i see then in the software, and there is constant beep sound also at the same time when the vhs

RE: [Solved] "Takes" functionality
Hi All, Amazing what I have learned from all your comments. Not only the “Takes” subject, but also on the VDL work flow for film creation. Many thanks for all of this. I started my project to get through the VDL editing learning curb and that is

RE: Improve video quality with AI
@Alfns I too process a lot of VHS transfers, some probably worse than yours being VHS-C (the camera) to BETAMAX (wow, remember that?) to VHS to H.264 MP4. I'm lucky though as I still have some of the original VHS-C tapes to work with. Having said

@emmrecs Hi Jeff . . . . snippet clearly shows the picture tearing-and ghosting that plagues this video but playback of the file in VPX/MMS does NOT, even at full screen . . . . Same here it is bad. . . . . Why?? If this problem had affected all the

RE: Windows does not find drivers for the video grabber usb device
My vhs player is supporting pal as far as i know, it is philips 14tvcr240/13. I was thinking the driver problem because my device manager says that the video grabber producer is unknown and in the box, "there isnt anydrivers downloaded to this

Connecting HDMI TO SCART TO RCA TO...
I bought the Magix Video Saver software, found that the SCART device that came with it does not connect to my Panasonic VHS/DVD player. I went on Amazon and purchased another SCART that connects to it so I can now continue to "proceed" to connect to

Jittery video
I have an older version of your video converter. I'm trying to copy old VHS tapes to digital. However its very jittery (impossibly so). I've checked the VHS player on a TV set and the tape is in good condition without the jittery effect. Is there a

RE: Cleaning up old VHS recordings
@jak.willis Hi Jak +1 👍 for @Pawel-Rybinski suggestion, especially if you have a lot of VHS captures to clean up. Do note NV does significantly slow down exports, this cannot be helped due the significant work load it imposes on the CPU/GPU. John EB

@the_franz Hi In Video Pro X17 the “AI sharpness” does not need to be online. The only features that need to be online are those in the Magix Hub, such as Text to speech. If you are capturing/digitising VHS, Super 8 or Hi 8 recordings I would advise

if they are PAL tapes then they should be TFF, NTSC VHS is BFF Whilst TFF is normal for PAL mpg/VOB they don't have to be. PAL DVD players will handle LFF. Vegas DVDA recompresses files for a PAL DVD to LFF(BFF) VOB files. I've not found a way to

RE: Puting finished movie with Title Page + chapters onto a USB stick ?
@johnebaker Thanks John, I've since "burnt" an ISO of a AVCHD project and can see the quality should be better (although it sounds like VHSGuy is working VHS captures) at the expense of disk space.
