Hi all, @Can-Dive Metro is one of our two local food stores and it's a big chain: And here is the view when you come out the door: So, please, no Metro video. @Reyfox Exxon, as in Exxon Valdez? We have Esso in Canada and I got gas there in

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@jak.willis Jak, you don't appear to understand what we're doing with the 1920x1080 export. The video being exported from MEP is 1920x1080, so it will fill your TV screen with no upscaling (it can't be upscaled because it's already at the TV

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@CubeAce @AAProds Hello again Ray, I am recording these TV programmes on my Panasonic Recorder. It basically records Freeview broadcasts and saves them to the built-in Hard Disk Drive. The channel that this show is being broadcast on is called

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@jak.willis There is no need to re-export. 1366x768 is essentially 16:9 (1.779:1 verses 1.77777:1), the same "shape" or ratio of your 1920x1080 video, so your movie will look exactly the same on the 1366 TV. Your encoded movie, sitting in the centre

@CarpentersMate @AAProds Hi, agreed a little misunderstanding there, @testataan says "higher fps gives better motion sharpness", this isn't referring to slow motion, yes you'd get a better video if you slowed 59.94 down compared to 29.97, but the

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@jak.willis Hi Jak. UK TV Drama is owned by BBC Studios, the commercial arm of the BBC, hence their content on the channel. I can't vouch for what ITV does with it's programs but I suspect similar treatment of their content would be perfromed. I

"Wrong" 4:3 images should have been 16:9 to fil TV screen
Okay, ages ago it was suggested to use the entire camera sensor, that is 4:3 and then selectively edit to 16:9. BUT now I have all of these 4:3 images which show up, well, as a smaller image on my 16:9 TV. Is there a simple (always looking for

RE: Can Not Export 4k or Higher Video in Portrait + MPEG-4 Issues
@Purbear Hi, Did you check Tiktok and Instagram video formats? All I can find is max. 1920x1080 or 1080x1920. What makes you think otherwise? The fact that Movie Studio can actually import and export 8K is amazing. That it can't export 8K in 9:16 is

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@Former user I'm also saying there's no point in re-exporting at all. The only thing that matters in this case is the ratio. Exporting at 1366/4 won't change how the video looks on either screen. @AAProds So you mean it will look the same whether

@AAProds Hi there, Thanks for your comment. Sorry for not mentioning about the Aspect Ratio. It is 4:3. And the resolution (according to the computer) is 544x576. It is quite an old TV show broadcast on a UK channel called ‘Drama.’ Most of their

@AAProds Hi Jack. Yes, I did have an old CRT TV but I threw it out years ago because I didn’t think that I’d need it again. Typical. Didn't we all 🤣 The nearest thing you could do in the digital domain is find an old larger SVGA Tube monitor Like
