Burning a DVD in Windows 10

I am using MEP 16 Plus HD and when I try to burn a DVD on my new Levono computer running Windows 10 , MEP does not recognise the burner. The burneer works as I can burn CDs. PC worl advise that the software must not be compatible with Windows 10.

Hi You may get it to install and run, however there will be some issues with loss of functionality eg the DVD burner is not recognised by MEP. You should install a Windows 10 compatible version of MEP. HTH John EB

Patch 10.0.12.2 error

I keep getting an error message that Magix doesn't recognize my burners for movie edit pro 17. I went to support site and I've downloaded the patch 12 times but everytime I try to install it give me an error message that the patch "is not suitable

Hi Please to here your problem has been solved - I suspect the burner firmware update was the fix that worked - see below re selecting Standard or Widescreen. . . . . by default it only uses about 7039 of available 8152M . . . . DVD DL media
