RE: Applying Lower Thirds In Movie Edit Pro 2015
Hi John C.B. The first example is simply the objects exported with a transparent background. This is what I assume to be a video with an alpha channel. Is this correct? Peter, is this what you mean by an avi with an alpha channel? Maybe,

RE: Exporting issues.
Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I know for sure that it's not my camera, I just tested it and the colour's seem to be fine when exporting just a picture as mpeg. Considering I've literally just installed and being the first video I've done,

RE: I can no longer see the video and audio in the timeline. Why?
Hi The only things I could see, were the BOXES that contain the video and audio, in everything I had edited prior to that point, and the raw footage after that point. I can only imagine you mean that the BOXES are the clips which are still

RE: I can no longer see the video and audio in the timeline. Why?
1. What MAGIX product and version are you using? I am referring to MEP 2015+ 2. What did your project look like before and after you 'moved a clip'? Screenshots would be best, but otherwise describe the states more precisely. What was in

Why won't my entire video import into Movie Edit Pro 2014?
Hello all, I am a YouTube content creator and use MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2014 to do my editing. Most of my content consists of video game Let's Plays and walkthroughs/tutorials. I use several different recording software, but primarily FRAPS and

RE: Audio "mute" on many clips with audio on Pro X
Now that I've properly re-read your original post AND viewed the clips you posted, I can see exactly what you mean: if you click to preview any of the files, they play in the "Source" screen, but without audio. Once placed on the timeline, they

RE: Audio "mute" on many clips with audio on Pro X
Hmmm.. interesting. So the sampling frequency was not the problem here! I'd still like to see/ attempt to open and play any extract from one of these files, if you can post it somewhere. http://www.datafilehost.com/d/3b91245c 4

RE: Audio/Video Sync Issues when creating DVD from project with proxy files
I can't give you a definitive answer to your questions but I am wondering why it was necessary to create proxies of your audio files? The value of proxies is for smoother playback of video; I see no point whatsoever in creating proxies of audio.

RE: when I import avi only the first minute and a half is visible, rest is blank
Thanks for the reply, I did look for latest update but there were none. Maybe you mean buy the latest version all over again, which I'd rather avoid. I don't understand why media player has no trouble playing the converted avi file or the raw MP4

RE: when I import avi only the first minute and a half is visible, rest is blank
Hi . . . . Movie edit pro wont let me import the raw gopro footage . . . . That is probably because you are recording in one of the HD resolutions and mp4 format which MEP14 does not support. Ideally you should updte your MEP to a newer

I'm using gopro footage converted inside the gopro studio app, then trying to import avi into Magix movie edit pro 14. Movie edit pro wont let me import the raw gopro footage, and as I said, only the first minute and a half of the avi footage can

RE: Audio Corruption when I CROSSFADE or use any video fades?
Hi Tony, What John EB meant was to upload 2 or 3 raw clips from your camera with sound so that we can try them out in MEP ourselves to see if we get the same problem. Also, John can analyze the file, I presume. Maybe you can tape 3 segments

RE: CR2 File ?
Hi An advantage of using RAW files is that you control the processing and it is possible to extract images of different exposure levels which are suitable for applying HDR to, although this is still not as good as using multiple images correctly
