RE: Preview Rendering feature missing from Movie Edit Pro 2013?
Thank you, Terry! That explains it. Still not sure why the manual would explain a feature that's not included. Oh well.

RE: set end of video
I am still unfamiliar with the software and this question forum. Not sure to put my remarks under "New Answer" or "add to question" as both seem not intended for feedback. Using Answer is the best approach IMO, which keeps the thread

RE: Using many tracks in MEP 2014
Thanks John. Took a quick look and reckon I see the basic approach. But if necessary I'll get some translation help from my wife. But if you get around to using the effect yourself, maybe you could do a Backup > Copy project and media into

RE: OT: Timestamp data in MOV (QT) files?
Hi John, Thanks, but I'm going to have to ponder on that for a while and do a few more experiments to clearly grasp this! But I sure do agree it gets complicated. Like you, I try to get my family video scenes reasonably faithful to real local

Recording a narration to accompany video.
Greetings all, I have just encountered yet another problem that I have no idea how to overcome (like most others) and the problem is this. I have a video that orginally had a music soundtrack recorded to accompany the video. I'v decided I don't

RE: Sharpness Blur does not function after latest patch for 2014 13.0.4.4 and program repair fails.
Thanks for checking, Peter. Automatic intrelacing made no difference here either. Nor various other temporary changes I tried. I was hopeful about Video/Audio > Reduce bitmap resolution... but no joy. The only slider that does show up in the

RE: Sharpness Blur does not function after latest patch for 2014 13.0.4.4 and program repair fails.
Hi Terry Yes I fell foul of this in the weekend. I have not reported it yet as the German members indicated that Magix were well aware. Contrary to what you have found with HWA, I can confirm what Ralf has said although his comment about "Vfw

RE: Sharpness Blur does not function after latest patch for 2014 13.0.4.4 and program repair fails.
Hi Peter, Thanks for the heads up. That's a serious bug. And it will be very noticeable in the project I'm half way through. Last night, I remember thinking after sliding the sharpener to 100 on a very similar clip that I'd sharpened a day

Sharpness Blur does not function after latest patch for 2014 13.0.4.4 and program repair fails.
Hi All Disturbing to see from the German members that the Sharpness / Blur function no longer has an effect at export and a subsequent repair installation of the program fails. Support have acknowledged the problem but can not say when (or if??)

RE: how to create soft edges around a clip
This is pretty basic stuff! An image is typically a bitmap, such as a photo, drawing, illustration, background, etc. File types include JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, etc. An image editor is an editor that edits images. Such as Paint, PhotoShop,

Your questioning gave me a clue to look at the movie settings... That was my intention. I suspect it now looks as good as it's going to get. Unless the aspect ratio of source and export are identical, then there are bound to be empy black

RE: Max Volume Levels for various playback devices
Hi Thank you for the explanation. I do know that many live groups hit the distortion deliberately, especially for electric guitars to get that 'extra effect' that some fuzz/distortion pedals cannot do. . . . . radio stations demand it! . . .

Hi Peter, What can I say? They're the Blu-ray H.264 codec settings, not mine! The stated bit rate is 25,000 to 40,000, but actually I get 42,000! Maybe that's why so many people are having problems with burning Blu-rays. Also, when
