Magix 15 will not recognise my new Sony HDR- CX115E.

When I try and import direct from the video camera the message say's 'cannot connect to video camera'. I have downloaded it into the Sony software but it then takes so long to change the format to load into Magix 15. Any suggestions please?

What format are these captures in? I use a Sony HDR-XR500, but I have not seen anything as you have mentioned. In the program, is the video playback set as NTSC?

Video runs too short for audio

Hi, I am trying to edit a mivie I shot with my Sony HDR-SR10. When I import into Movie Edit Pro 15 the video runs slightly faster than the audio, so it ends before it should. I have checked that the project and movie settings are the same, but

I have a Sony HDR-HC1e HDV mini-dv camera.

I can get Magix (I have Pro Edit 15) to rewind and fast forward the tape and play it, but I cannot upload or output to or from this camera in HDV. I did not have this problem with my last camera, a JVC 3CCD mini dv camera. I keep getting the warning

You might have to further clarify exactly what video format(s) that camera produces. I don't know this camera personally, but was under the impression that the HDR UX1E was a AVCHD camera, in which case MEP 11 wouldn't offer any support for it.
