Magix 15 will not recognise my new Sony HDR- CX115E.
When I try and import direct from the video camera the message say's 'cannot connect to video camera'. I have downloaded it into the Sony software but it then takes so long to change the format to load into Magix 15. Any suggestions please?

What format are these captures in? I use a Sony HDR-XR500, but I have not seen anything as you have mentioned. In the program, is the video playback set as NTSC?

You might have to further clarify exactly what video format(s) that camera produces. I don't know this camera personally, but was under the impression that the HDR UX1E was a AVCHD camera, in which case MEP 11 wouldn't offer any support for it.
