RE: DVD-R cannot play on TV
John, The default menu and navigation structure encode all approached made no difference.  Still could not read the DVD on TV. Good News however, I notice the Magix program had assigned the "DVD Title" to be the same as one of my earlier "project

Hi Thanks for the information. I think the disc menu structure or information is suspect. Try the burn again and select the following options when asked: Encode all Rewrite chapter menu and menu information - checked Rewrite film menus and

I will likely become a "student". I can live with the somewhat generic backgrounds as I develop my "products" but eventually I hope to have distinctive backgrounds. I have the Adobe Creative Suite 6 and can probably do some of the graphics or

What menu template are you using? I used the default to create this DVD https://www.dropbox.com/s/5zuy70bn4b0xsv1/Dave3Vols.zip?dl=0 To test it I selected a volume in the top level menu, opened its chapter menu and played a chapter. That, as usual,

    Compilation of 3 projects
As a new MEP-Premium user on Windows 10/64, I've been able to create movie projects with are typically 15 karaoke videos each that fit on a dual-layer DVD (8.5GB). So assume there are three such projects, Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3. Individually they

    Burning a DVD from another
I have Movie Edit Pro 2015. I have been given permission from a company to copy their DVDs for a friend. I want to keep everything the same as the original DVDs, including the interactive menus. How would I do that? I am having a hard time figuring

RE: Burning DVD - aborted due to encoding.
Hi Looking at the error log and the burning options you have 2 separate issues. You are trying to burn a Blu-Ray disc on a writer that does not support Blu-Ray .As Jeff has commented with the HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM GUB0N you can only burn CD's and DVD's.I

    RE: De-interlacing Question
Hi. As I understand, if you play a DVD containing a 576i video, then either the TV or Blu-Ray Player will have to deinterlace it anyway? Yes.  If this is the case then is there any point in deinterlacing the footage in MEP before exporting and

Here is another thing I learned, if I choose the OK quickly after the export to DVD is complete, it corrupts the export, and the menu system gets all jacked up. Not only do I get the .vob files, I also get .bmp of the menu icons, along with other

Hi Bruce . . . . I make a separate encoded file for each event and then make up a family member specific set of DVD's . . . . I suspect the issue is because the total bitrate, ie video + audio, is exceeding the DVD allowed maximum of approx 10800

Hi, Thanks for the additional information. strangely the audio setting in MovAvi was already set at 48kHzwhich suggests that MEP may NOT be set to 48kHz, I think. I have a suspicion that iTunes works at 44.1kHz. Perhaps it is "forcing" MEP to change
