Strange ! Video Pro x installed but no video shows
Hi, In my eternal testing for why the overlay won't play on my T7500 box, I have installed VPX onto another Win 10 box I have. It is running Win 10x64 1709 When I insert a clip into the timeline I only see the audio no video shows. Never seen this

RE: Comments on November 2017 update to VPX, improvements or problems
Just noticed that when I play anything on the timeline, it will play for 3 secs then stop while the play button is still pressed. When I touch the stop button then play again, it will go another 3 secs and so on. Not sure if this is just me or not.

RE: Comments on November 2017 update to VPX, improvements or problems
I was so hoping my overlay problem would be fixed in this however it is all the same for me. Support are working on it but so far no answers. Really strange because the previous updates work until 15.0.4.176. Seems like one would only need to see

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Downloaded videoprox_dlm_8541 which is 15.0.0.56 so installed it. Overlay works. Says updates available, so it downloaded 107MB and said it is ready for installation. Chose immediately. It closed my open program then a panel came up.. The patch has

Well that didn't last long !! Checked to see if there were any updates and there were, so updated, twice. Changes in version 15.0.3.154: Fixed error with automatic updates Changes in version 15.0.3.148: The overlay still worked here. There was still

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Yes the reinstall fixed the problem and it didn't change with all free extra's installed. Not sure why that would happen, but must have been a corrupt file somewhere. I did notice the Desktop icon shortcut changed from the Purple V to a white and

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Well it looks like my program is corrupted somehow because I loaded up a trial version on my Surface Pro 3 with same Win 1o version and it worked. Both title transparent and the overlay with Black chroma worked. I will uninstall and install again

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Thanks again John, Yes I 've tried the Update button a few times but it says There are no updates for Magix Video Pro X. So I guess that's what it means. Still trying what I can but still no transparency for a text title or overlay clip. I got an

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Checked this again another way using MEP2018 Plus and I found that simply using a chromakey black on the overlay was better. When the musical notes show up, there is a cross-shaped white glow that can be seen in the simple version with chromakey

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Hi, Make sure that you have updated to the latest patch. What is the patch version number that you are using? See under Help, About. In VPX (15.0.4.176), put the title on track 4 unless you want the overlay stars to pass in front of the titles, and

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Hi VPX appears to no longer automatically apply Alpha when it is present, or the filename indicates it is to have Alpha applied to it. Your client needs to apply either Chromakey Black or Alpha from the Effects tab, Video effects, Chromakey dialog

Hi . . . . Is this a fault in my own program or is this in all the latest VP x. . . . . There is no issue here with VPX 15.0.4.176 and Chromakey black. What happens if you use Chromakey Alpha and change the effects direction arrow? Can you post one

RE: Overlaying clips that are transparent
Whilst the clip on 3 can be seen overlaying the primary track 1 clip in Video Pro X4 using Chromakey Black, it does not work in the latest Video Pro x 15.0.4.176 (UDP3). Is this a fault in my own program or is this in all the latest VP x. If so on

Hi. Thank you for changing the offensive title to your video. Unfortunately, the actual overlay text on the video itself also contains a number of offensive and obscene words; as a result it has been removed because this is a public forum to which
