    RE: Won't export as mpeg
Which version of Movie Edit Pro? As a test, can you start a new project, load in something small, and see if you can export that out as MPEG? If that works, then something in the project file you have for the one that isn't working is

I use a camera that captures in AVCHD, which has a format of MTS. This I can load, but they playback choppy. The program told me there could be issues with the MTS as it is a extremely large format, and that it is recommended to convert it... I

RE: .vob File Import in PhotoStory 8
I am not sure that the PhotoStory program can use .vob files, that might require a video editor to put the .vob into a .mpeg format. I looked online for system specs, but I could not find PhotoStory 8, the accuracy of the information below could

Hi, did you mean Website Maker 4 or Web Designer 6 as used program? Website Maker supports MPEG and also AVi movies an dmuch miore formats. See FAQ. Sometimes special codecs avoid correct play-back. Bye, Revolver

RE: [Closed] File Format Issue or Protected File Driving me crazy
I am not so sure here. The Movie Edit Pro is being told that the files cannot be read, now this to me means that the format that the files are in are not something that the program has accessible codecs too. This is why we need to know what

Help me get AVI videos to work in Magix.
So my friend recorded a bunch of video game cutscenes for me from his Nintendo Wii, and I've tried plugging them into Magix.  They load as pure green screens with no sound.  Then I tried plugging in some other AVI videos I've downloaded, and Magix

Static Jumpy media pool and project playback
I just edited my first project combining a few MOV files from the Canon digital camera, joining with transitions and exporting as a new AVI movie. Ever since I did that I now am having playback problems within the Magix Movie Edit Pro program.

    RE: Playback is jerky
Does it jump around if you burn your project to a DVD? Is your computer fast enough to handle the processing of the program? You may need to update your MP4 codec. Try to export as an AVI and see what happens.

    RE: divx codec for magix
I agree. I would like to be able to force my MEP 14+ to use only the CODEC I choose. I too would like to use the DivX CODEC for by exports and imports. * * * Oops! Found it in Morbotron's response to someone else's question. File

RE: How do I get normal DV-AVI files to export from MEP 15 Plus?
Hi Steve, MEP does support DV AVI of course - but that's primarily relevant if it's actually DV material you're working with. You're capturing analog material. For most situations and use cases, it doesn't make that much sense to force an export

RE: I am using Magix Movie edit pro 15. Won't upload AVI videos
On Internet you will find a program called GSPOT, free. It is an analyzing program telling  you which codecs are installed on your PC, and which codecs the AVI-file needs. Try that !

I am using Magix Movie edit pro 15. Won't upload AVI videos
I am using Magix movie edit pro15. I recorded some videos on my camera. Used the SD card & put it in my computer to import to movie edit pro 15, but it says it can't upload "AVI" and I need to download codec to "SEDG." What am I supposed to do?

    RE: divx codec for magix
But how do you tell Magix which codec to use? At present I'm stuck with the infuriating Main Concepts codec which decides to splatter its ugly logo all over the screen when I import an AVI file. I can't see where you can "tell" Magix to use another

Why do I get a main concept logo in all avi files I inport into Movie Edit 15?
Recently I have noticed an annoying logo for MAIN CONCEPT which now appears in the top right hand corner of all AVI files I inport into ME15. Never had this problem before.... It doesn't happen if I load to file into DivX only in WinMoviePlayer

I hear you too... the simple fact is a video player and a video editor is a different beast and handle HD video in different ways. I perosnally use Corel video Studio x2 and I have the same problem with the H.264 codec as do many Pro-sumer video

RE: Error message when importing avi files
Yeah I tried the reset. I tried uninstall and install. I tried importing from different drives. I tried renaming and a bunch of different settings tweaks. None of it worked. What I just tried was converting them to WMV files, and it seems to work
