RE: What is most important to have in a video editing PC build using Magix
@Tusk Ah! you are something I have never been. A devout fan. Probably because I have been in 'the business'. Record companies get a bad rap and few know the real risks involved or the amount of money it takes to launch new talent. Failure rate is

RE: import video clips from one MEP Project into the other?
Thanks Jeff :-) unfortunately i'm not at that stage yet. I'm just trying out which snippets fit where. The effect i'm using is Chroma Key Pro by NewBlue Elements, because my footage is all green screen. Also i need to lign up all the audio with

RE: Magix Video Resolutions Incorrect?
Hi everyone. In a nutshell the naming conventions for video resolutions is a result of the different industries - camera and TV manufacturers and the film industry never agreeing on a unified naming convention for resolutions and marketing

[Closed] Preview and renders are just a mess
So, just as a bit of background. I do tiktok snippets of my gameplay, its not been anything big, i just like to do it as a bit of fun. It keeps me occupied and i like to use my imagination in doing a little snippet of something which hasnt been over

Hi everyone :-) does anybody know how to import already edited video clips from one MEP Project into the other? Here's the thing: I would like to make one movie out of many film shootings i did. Since they don't all fit on the 200 possible tracks in

pieces cut out of a track unfortunately remain linked together
Hey everyone :-) for some mysterious reason, the pieces i cut out of a track remain linked together. So, if i cut a piece out of a track and proceed to move it, the rest of the track moves with it. This is a problem, because i would like to make a

@kate-m Hi . . . . I would like to make one movie out of many film shootings i did. Since they don't all fit on the 200 possible tracks in one project window (and also MEP runs very slowly with all those video clips in one project window) . . . .

RE: Movie Studio 2023 glitchy and crashing
Hi. I have the following: Intel i7 12700, 32GB RAM. Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. I use film from a Panasonic HC-V800, fully HD. I am running the latest Windows 11. My problems with Movie Studio 16 were on an old PC, so different spec,

RE: Program crashes and closes when I try to play a video
@AAProds Hi Al. Just yesterday, (last night) while exporting a project of 47 minutes of 4k footage filmed at 24 fps and the camera files run at a constant 100Mb/s. There are just a few effects interspersed for short periods (often less than 15

RE: An error has occurred during export with an external video codec
@tami-0 I'm assuming your source file/s are 1920x1080, 29.97, Progressive. Please advise if they aren't. An MPEG 4 file at the same size as an MPEG file will be better quality, so I'd suggest MPEG 4. To achieve a "compression ratio" of 1.2, do this

RE: Fail to adjust the frame rate for blue-ray disk (BD)
It is very strange that one can film at HD and 50 fps, but then it is impossible to burn that high quality video on BD.Also, how come that converting 50 to 25 fps is so difficult? The tool simply could take one every two frames? But thanks for the

RE: Magix Video Resolutions Incorrect?
@AAProds Hi Al. Video resolutions are historically based on camera sensor ratios which are generally 4:3 (As in 35mm and 70mm film stock) so 4K would be 4096x2160 of which I can set both my video cameras to capture. This gives some leeway when

I'll have to give up on this. Luckily, Apple now provides audio noise reduction in FCPX. I doubt that I can film in a public park with ambulances going by on their way to the medical center and then take out the sirens as I could in Spectralayers,
