RE: saving video
There are numerous codecs that use the <.mov> extension. I would think the most common for streaming and such is the AVC/AAC. If that is the case, render a MainConcept MP4 (or other) which uses AVC/AAC, You can change the extension to .mov if

RE: Quick Time Movie Export (Advanced) Not Working
@CarpentersMate, @CubeAce Hi Mike, Ray I installed MEP 2016 and QT on my laptop last night and have been testing various exports. The DV/DVCPRO NTSC settings are consistently reliable. The h.264 in MOV is very unreliable, the export failing

RE: saving video
Seasons greetings @Mark-Truett, The <.mov> extension is just a wrapper, what codec do you wish to encode the video as. If you just need a standard AVC/AAC video file, render the file as an MP4, then change the extension to *.mov after the

RE: Quick Time Movie Export (Advanced) Not Working
@CarpentersMate Hi Mike. I'm not the expert on this one but I would start by looking at the mediainfo of the produced file first. It could be a player issue within Windows. I've had that before. Windows doesn't seem to cope with playing all mov.

@CarpentersMate Hi Mike . . . . FCP Captured File Data indicates ACC (as audio) (yes please I understand that John) . . . . I only see AAC in the image, ie standard h.264/AAC combination in a Quicktime (MOV) container file - nothing to worry about
