@Jennifer-Barnes Both John and I should have pointed out not to be tempted to get too cheap a graphics card. I am not overly sure of AMD graphics cards relating to performance but in the Case of nvidia cards I personally would not go for a 1600

I forgot to say that I'm not a recording or mastering engineer, merely an audiophile. I discovered Samplitude long ago when I was searching for a Windows audio player with a transparent pitch and time (especially pitch). As it happens, lots of my

@emmrecs Hi Jeff. At present I don't need jBridge as my current DAW can use both 32 bit and 64 bit fx and soft synths but I'm not sure about that compatibility when Win 12 arrives. I don't know if you have noticed but running a 32 bit effect uses

Have been testing AP11 on Win11, so far so good. I can say this that ever since Magix took over AP, the only "productive" update that has taken place is that they upgraded it from 32 to 64 bit so newer systems can work it. Everything else is either

The original file 1 is from a DVD which is most probably from a TV broadcast recorded on tape. It has been processed by Virtual Dub filters to remove a lot of the jitter, noise, and spots. There was much frame by frame processing and the final

@mikerb use Freemake Video Converter to convert from mp4 to mkv Mike, unless you have a specific need for MKV, there is no need to "convert" to MKV. MKV is simply the file container and the underlying video codec will probably just be H264 (the
