@Robert-Swope Thanks again for this additional information. As you surmise your new disc burner will not burn Blu-ray Discs. It is for DVDs only. With reference to the quality problem of this most recent slideshow when displayed on your UHD TV, have

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@AAProds Thanks so much for guiding me through this. The screenshots you provided were also helpful. In my bedroom I have a Panasonic LCD TV with a resolution of 1366x768. If I try to follow the same procedure but export in 1366x768 instead of

    RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@jak.willis So you mean it will look the same whether you encode it in 1366x768 or 1920x1080? Basically, Yes. The 1920x1080 file will look a bit better IMO. The other thing I wanted to ask is does it matter what resolution I’m feeding to the TV?

@Christelle Hi, and welcome to the user to user forums. I would describe the audio sound as crackles, and is a sign of the audio buffers needing to load more data ahead of playing the visual content to keep it in sync with the image frames or to

    [Closed] Blue-ray 3D Disk - Sony Movie Studio 11 / 13
I'd downloaded a trialed a version of Sony Movie Studio 13 for someone who has a Sony 3D camera, 3D blue ray player and 3D TV. There is an option in that software when creating a New Project entitled 'Blue-ray 3D Disk' - from which once I'd added

    RE: Magix Video Resolutions Incorrect?

Hi everyone. In a nutshell the naming conventions for video resolutions is a result of the different industries - camera and TV manufacturers and the film industry never agreeing on a unified naming convention for resolutions and marketing

RE: Fail to adjust the frame rate for blue-ray disk (BD)
The interlaced format and frame rates are 'left overs' from when the old CRT TV's and monitors which supported frame rates of 25 fps (PAL) and 29.97 fps (NTSC) were in use. To all intents and purposes Interlaced video is an obsolete format I don't

I want to thank folks for the continued discussion. As I understand it Faststone photo editor has an option to crop to 16:9 in a lossless process. So presumably there would be no loss of resolution only the chopping of what *I* would consider less
