Movie Edit Pro 2013 Problem during "creating DVD image"
I have a newly purchased Movie Edit Pro 2013 and a recent Dell laptop with Windows 7. Four times it has aborted during the "creating DVD image" phase of the Burn cycle. I completely remade the project to make sure it was not a corrupt file. The

RE: Problem With Playback of DVDs Burned Using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus
Hello again. Thank you for taking the time to reply directly as well as on the forum. Since I see you're using Win8 I wonder whether your problem is caused by some incompatibity between MEP, your burner and it? Just speculation on my

RE: Problem With Playback of DVDs Burned Using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus
Greetings Jeff, And, thank you for your timely response. One of the reasons I am having problems comes from the fact that there are no instructions when you search for "Burn DVD" in the help files. All I see is a blank instructions page.

RE: When I import a .VOB file, the audio track does not import correctly. See detail. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, You need to think of .VOB files as a container or a wrapper. They are great for organizing and holding content to be played on a dvd player. These files are not great for editing for many reasons but the biggest one is the codecs for audio

RE: Problem With Playback of DVDs Burned Using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus
Short answer: .avi is NOT suitable "as is" for DVD use! Longer answer: you say got MEP to "burn" the .avi file. Do you mean you got MEP to EXPORT/RENDER the file to DVD? Or, as appears to be the case since you mention an .HDP file being

When I import a .VOB file, the audio track does not import correctly. See detail. What am I doing wrong?
When importing .VOB files into the arranger to edit a movie, the first file imports correctly. Subsequent files import with either the audio track offset from the video by several frames or the first few seconds of the new segment have the audio

RE: importing home movie
No answer, but a google search for "Panasonic VDR-D100" "format" found several sites including one that suggests that the format is mpeg-2 (VOB is a file extension, not a format, standard for DVDs) and that the camera can record in several modes

RE: importing home movie
Hi, I sometimes have problems with both .vob and .avi file containers. Since it does not happen often enough, and only with certain files, I just convert them to something else like MP4 or WMV using a free product calles "Any Video Converter".

RE: VOB FILES WILL NOT LOAD
OK Ray, good luck. One other thought: VOB files are essentially MPEG files. If you just change the extension from VOB to MPG it might make the file accessible to repair tools designed for MPEG files. Or change it 'properly' with the program
