HI, I've just signed up for Magix's free hosting. I think I'm meant to have received a confirmation email but nothing has arrived yet. I can log into my support area and I think I can also FTP up, although I uploaded an index.html to my domain

Actually it needs only a few hours. So try to log in to www.magix-online.com and choose "domain and email". Here you can see your registered domains.

if your domain is registered at another provider, only this provider can change the domain setting, not magix.
