RE: Export from ProX to mp4 file and get a green screen
Actually 2 were HD camcorders and the other two were phones set to record in HD. I was going to ask in a separate comment if there is some way in VPX13 to do some "automatic" color matching between cameras rather than fiddling around with the color

@BSMan Hi . . . . This is a project using 4 cameras  . . . . Are these video cameras and/or DSLR recordings or what? Download and install MediaInfo and analyse a video clip from each camera - see this tutorial for how to setup and use Mediainfo In

RE: Export from ProX to mp4 file and get a green screen
I spoke too soon. It worked twice then went back to creating a green screen. So I'm outputting as avi for some of the files. This is a project using 4 cameras and recording groups singing a number of Christmas carols, so I'm creating a set of 4

@jak.willis @johnebaker Thanks both. I learned a bit about MEP's deinterlacing too. Not that I understand why those settings eg Interpolate intermediate images work! 🙂 . The written description/explanation of each setting certainly doesn't

Other encoders can be used via the "AVI" export. Here's x264 that I installed for use with Virtual Dub: Don't ask me how to use it! 😉

RE: Upgraded to 2022 Premium, now can't export videos
@Dave-Eric, @CubeAce Hi Dave, Ray The GTX 1070 certainly meets the system requirements and should be fine exporting to MP4. As both MP4 and AVI are affected, this would rule out the GPU - AVI is not an accelerated export format - what is on the

Upgraded to 2022 Premium, now can't export videos
I upgraded to Movie Edit Pro 2022 Premium, and everything works well, except when I export to MPEG4 or AVI, it exports, then 30 seconds to completing the export, the program ends and closes. It does generate a MPEG4 file of about the right size, but

RE: all exports stutter, even without effects
@CubeAce It is generally considered bad practice to mix video types, frame rates and resolutions. Gday Ray, I can't see any evidence that the OP is doing this? I would always recommend exporting using the 'Export As' option as this gives greater

    RE: Lagarith Lossless Codec
@jak.willis So, in Lagarith, what do you need to do to ensure it does compress? Nothing; it does it automatically. And, the other weird thing I’ve noticed is that whenever I export a 4:3 video using Lagarith, the output file ends up as 5:4. Is there

@johnebaker @browj2 @CubeAce Hi I've still got a Hahnel S1000 Super 8 cement splicer, which I used last year to repair film with broken perforations that wouldn't go through my scanner - I had to clean up the battery compartment before

    RE: Lagarith Lossless Codec
@jak.willis Video compression is a compromise with size. The more compressed a video is, the more data has been "thrown away" as well as more complex encoding with various types of frames, as Cubeace has described). LAGS is one of the so-called

@jak.willis @CubeAce @me_again It will be because the TV and Bluray can't decode the LAGS codec. I haven't been able to play any type of AVIs on my LG Smart TV or WDTV media player, but there could be a media player out there that does. Windows

    Lagarith Lossless Codec
Hello, I decided to do some experimenting with the Lagarith lossless codec. In MEP, I used an MPEG-2 720x576 video, and exported to AVI using the Lagarith codec. The resulting file plays fine in Windows Media Player, but, for some reason, when I put

    How Do You Import Videos?
In the manual for Magix Music Maker, it lists that AVI formats can be imported into Magix and viewed in the Video Monitor. However none of the formats I've tried exporting from Davinci Resolve work. I had a forum moderator tell me a few months back

@johnebaker @CubeAce Hi John, Ray 1. I believe that one recommendation for this was to use a 2 step process - export the project at the new framerate as MXV (or AVI if you want to archive the project at the higher framerate) and then import the
