RE: no sound on my video deluxe 15 premium
Hi, I understand that the play cursor is moving across the track when you replay the file, but do you actually see that a waveform for the audio part has been successfully imported into the software? If you can see a waveform, make sure you

RE: [Closed] DISK FULL!?
Hi, With uncompressed AVI files (or other codecs that could fall into the lossless category) you will definitely get massive file sizes, especially with HD material. I'm not surprised at all. I suppose the question is: What do you actually want

RE: best video format for loading on my page or my site
Hello, Generally, DV AVI is a good format to retain high quality. Also, AVI with certain (e.g. lossless) video codecs. However, the latter is far less compatible and useful than DV AVI. However, since you're asking the question specifically

RE: [Closed] Won't accept AVI
Hi there, I assume you mean that you installed the available patch for Movie Edit Pro 11 to work under Windows Vista. If not, please do that now. The program is not compatible with Vista in its out-of-the-box state, so installing the patch is

RE: [Closed] Website Maker: How to embed a Youtube movie?
Hi, I can't really make any accurate statements on the video size that is possible and it probably also depends on a few other factors. However, as far as upload formats go, WMV is a pretty good and compatible choice. The files will be transcoded

RE: Magix movie edit pro 14 - Half my avi movies are loading on the preview screen, very laggy program, random "this program is not responding"
If the program is "slow and laggy" in preview playback, you should try a different video mode to see if one works better for you with your video card/configuration: click "File" - "Program settings". Under the "Display options" tab, under "Playback

What is wrong with Movie Edit Pro 14?
This is the latset glich. When I import a simple .avi movie, I get the audio but the video is a coloful version of old static TV after hours. Nothing! The software must be corrupt so unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to do an uninstall/reinstall

We would really need more information to try to help you here - What file type is the video? If it's AVI, what codec is used?

RE: Saving avi uncompressed files
I will ask to make you the following: 1. Try to export video as uncompressed avi file on a logic disk with NTFS file system (on internal hard disk drive). Is the problem is solved? I will risk to assume that at record on external stores, the codec

Hi there, What's the audio codec in those AVI files you're importing? Where are they from? Can you possibly upload and share a sample file here, so I can check this and see what might be the problem? Thanks.

Hey, it would be better to be more specific (and short) in your question and put the details into the detailed text. Anyway.... 1. I can't say anything else but: Yes, it should be there. Start > Programs > Movies on...Documentation.

RE: clicking sounds at regular intervals.
Hi, Sorry to hear this. Apparently an undesired side effect of the DVdate conversion process. I can't really say that I've experienced this problem before when using DVdate to convert DV AVI to type II in order to fix that audio problem.

RE: cant upload vids with my new sanyo camcorder..
Hi, From what I gather, that camera creates MPEG-4 video files. You need to make sure to activate the MPEG-4 codec before you can import those into Movie Edit Pro 14. This can be done in the "Help" menu of the program under "Activate additional

RE: Hi fellow videographers, i wondered if we can render the AVI. files in AVI. or close to quality wise, and burn a DVD that would be played on average "lounge DVD players" .... ? THX for advice.
You can't burn AVI files directly using Movie Edit Pro - it encodes to MPEG2/VOB and those VOB files are burned to DVD. I suppose you could export your project as AVI and then burn to disc using a different program/burning suite. To export, click
