    RE: Color background Images
@holland_derrick Hi Derek. Look under Templates\ Image Objects \ Test Images. Ray. I just tried this, but no "Test Images" is listed. It only lists the following: Borders, Comic, Deco, Full, Fun, Mix, Present, Text, and Layer Masks. And none of

RE: How to make Glitch Effects on Video Pro X?
@Xtron-135 Hi and welcome to the VPX user to user forum. No offence taken asking a genuine question. You are correct that it would be a third party effect or template such as this one I found on producer planet. As such it would be considered a

RE: How to have an image twirl in from the left to centre screen
@1940 Hi Oz. I seem to be the only one around much today. Sorry. I really think at this point you need to spend some time reading your manual, looking at the tutorials on this forum, and learning what each of the supplied effects can do within VPX.

    RE: Gliding Transition change direction
@steveh3100, @CubeAce To add to Rays comment . . . . making a custom Mask shape in Paint and saving as either a PNG file or jpg . . . . The mask should be Black/white eg It does not matter which area is black or white - the above with a black top

    RE: Gliding Transition change direction
@steveh3100 Hi Steve. It would be easy to make your own version of the cookie cutter by making a custom Mask shape in Paint and saving as either a PNG file or jpg and then applying the Chroma Key to it. It would have to be larger than the chosen

    RE: Simple circular wipe
@Roadhiker Hi, A circular wipe would be a transition from one clip to another, so please your use of wipe is incorrect as it seems that you want a picture in picture, not a transition. Perhaps you can confirm this. Another way to do this and one

RE: New Blue Titler Pro 6 for Magix
OK. More work done. My copy will not work within MEP or VPX. It does work as a stand-alone program and produces files that are giving a transparent background or alpha mask if you prefer in the mov. format that windows can't play. They are playable

Yes, those were the products that I bought: Sparks, Flames, Powders, and others. I was finally able to get the masks to work. Now that you have had some time to use the BusyBoxx products, is this a product you would recommend? I was looking at

RE: Removing object from video eg head and superimposing another on top
@AA4362 You could probably have some success rotoscoping to make a mask that follows the head movements using Xara Photo & Graphics Designer from MEP. It takes patience after learning how to do it. Maybe stick to something simpler like

RE: Removing object from video eg head and superimposing another on top
@AA4362 To be honest, even if you mask accurately the result could still not look right if the lighting on the face is different to the lighting on the body. Not just intensity but the direction and colour of the light. But have fun playing around.

RE: Removing object from video eg head and superimposing another on top
Thankyou both. I put another head on top of the moving video head that’s been removed. Past efforts have left the area fuzzy/ blurred where I’ve used a mask and so it just doesn’t look as good as I’d hoped. Maybe I have to get better at masking.

RE: Removing object from video eg head and superimposing another on top
@AA4362 Hi, MEP/VPX do not have drawing tools built-in. If the image is just a photo, you could probably use Photo Designer 7 that comes with MEP to draw around the head to create a mask and then use that. Better would be to use a graphics editor

Removing object from video eg head and superimposing another on top
I’ve seen some video editing programmes that can remove an object eg face from video using a pen tool and applying “ Bezier” effect and tracking motion and it seems pretty accurate. I’ve got movie edit pro premium 2021 and been messing around with

@mkro Hi Mike. You may want to look at this thread then to see how it was done. I'll only take credit for the idea, not for the solution as to how to do it. That was a collected effort between the more experienced people here. Good luck. Ray.

    RE: Stacking Videos
@mkro Hi Mike. From what I have been able to do so far I'd say not from just within MEP. It would be quicker and less work to set up the background shot again and add a green shaped card or other relative colour you can block. My example using your

@Tomek Hi Can you post a screenshot of the room scene and street scene. I suspect that if they contain other green objects, using Chromakey green - note this only works with specific 'green' colours - will not be effective, methods to try: If there
