RE: Update MEP 2022 and VPX 13 21.0.1.107
@johnebaker Hi John EB, Yes. The anchor point stays at the same offset throughout. This is a question for Magix - can the anchor point offset be keyframed? The other thing that cannot be keyframed is the Sequence of rotations. That, I can

RE: Update MEP 2022 and VPX 13 21.0.1.107
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I think that the anchor point movement/kf effect is separate from the rotation XYZ series. The anchor point is what they will rotate about. I discussed quite a while back in another thread what the XYZ rotations do. Try this. With

RE: Update MEP 2022 and VPX 13 21.0.1.107
@johnebaker @browj2 @Former user Hi John EB. I get it in my mind now. Have yet to experiment with it. It clicked when I realized in the publicity blurb they referred to it as a 3D effect. Thinking about it as a 3D effect it makes sense and also how

RE: MTS Video Rotated After Save and Close / Open
@johnebaker Do you see the issue in MEP 2021 with the rotation controls - this normally appears when using mobile phone video recorded in portrait mode and has a rotation flag set ? John, it seems to be working OK here. I've added a portrait video,

Resize about centre, move anchor point to upper left, rotate. I succeeded but the anchor point is always in the upper left, even though I managed to get the image to zoom in about its centre. So, don't ask how as I still don't understand. John CB

RE: Update MEP 2022 and VPX 13 21.0.1.107
@johnebaker Thanks John EB, I'm redoing my example. I put the anchor point at the upper left, reduced the size, moved to somewhere close to the middle, set total kfs, moved along timeline, z rotation 720, works fine. But I want to start with the

RE: Update MEP 2022 and VPX 13 21.0.1.107
@johnebaker Hi John EB, Clear as mud! If you need to have the Anchor point offset to the Offset for animating the object, eg creating a slingshot effect rotating the object while the anchor point is moving along a path, then set them in that

RE: MTS Video Rotated After Save and Close / Open
Update on the issue - it's 100% a MEP "weakness". The work around is sort of like a math problem, (Order of Operations). First start a new TL with the "Problem" video - edit / save / close / open - (WOW the video didn't rotate!). Then to that new TL

RE: MTS Video Rotated After Save and Close / Open
@tdbearii Thanks for additional information - the manual for the Sony HCR CX 100 does have sufficient information on the video file format it records to, however Handbrake should be able to correct the Anamorhpic video. @AAProds Hi Alwyn . . . .

That is the rotate function I used in the above pic @ -90 and created anamorphic distortion in an effort to find a work-around and fix the issue. Bottom line the very same clips are fine on 1 time line and rotate on another. Both time lines have the

I tried this two ways. 1) saved exported the file to a new timeline as above - fail 2) re-edited the .MTS video, after deleting the back ground files, saved, exported, added to a new time line - also a fail. This, over 60min time line, is mostly

RE: Update MEP 2022 and VPX 13 21.0.1.107
@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . . However, is that the job of the Position box instead as that resets to center. . . . IMO is is the anchor point that should move not the image - consider the case of wanting to reset the anchor point back to the centre of the
