RE: how do I import DVD burned of movie produced with Magix movie pro?
Hi Addition to Terry's recommendation. The video vob files start with the filename   VTS_01_1.VOB Depending on the length of the movie there may be more than 1 VOB,  ie there may be several and they are numbered sequentially eg VTS_01_1.VOB,

Hi, Just import the large VOB file(s) into MEP. If they are not on your HD, load them in from disc.. Did you try Help? Or the PDF Manual? Or using the Search box on the site? It returns 23 hits for 'vob', including several answering

RE: Files required to burn DVD from Magix image after project deleted
Hi. Do you actually have an "image file" (a single file with an .iso extension)?  If so, you simply need a program which can burn the contents of that file as a Disc Image directly to a DVD.  Essentially the .iso file is a zip file containing

Dear MAGIX user,      12 Sept  2012. When you Save a movie people usualy are just Saving the Project file. This file is very small and "tells" MAGIX what to do with the data, make the sound louder, make the picture/video brighter, cut what

RE: Once I ran the online update, larger files will no longer render... Told me to disable smart render, did so, still won't render files...
I managed to get the file I wanted to make a dvd from to work, by first converting the mpg file to a .vob file... This is a strange problem, seemed to really not like that one mpg file, and I'm not sure why. Anyone?

Hi I think George is referring to this topic  Here are some tips: I do a trial burn to rewriteable DVD-RW discs for testing - once I have what I want and the DVD is good, I generally copy the rewriteable to DVD-R using Nero.  The

Short answer: Yes! More specifically, you need to open the .vob file on the timeline and choose the File>Export Movie>Audio as..  I would always export as wav rather than mp3 but it all depends on what you want to do with the audio

Did you use the VOB file from the DVD?  If yes, are there other VOB files from that DVD... do they all play no sound when loaded?

RE: VTS-01_1.VOB - Should the existing file be used for the film
HI Whalebat AFAIK there is no reference to these in the Help or manual. These options appear once you have carried a burn to DVD, first you need to know the structure of a DVD which has the following components: VTS_01_1.VOB - contains the

In the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD are one or more files with the ending .VOB. Copy them to your harddisk into a folder. Then find them in Media Pool and drag them down to Timeline .

    RE: Cannot Burn Playable Disc
Another question:  The first choice in the burn list is Image recorder.  Is this a burn to the HDD in Blu-ray format, kinda like the old .iso and .vob files that one uses for DVDs?  And can I save the Image recorder output to disc and burn it

    RE: Cannot Burn Playable Disc
Well, the email confirmation says it's "MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 18 MX Plus", but there is no way of verifying that in the software itself.  In the Aboiut window it just says, "MAGIX Movie Edit Pro MX Plus Download Version Version 11.0.5.0
