  Hi MEP 16HD is not compatible with Windows 8.1, you may also find that it does not recognise your DVD burner. Time upgrade to a Windows 8 compatible version. John

  Hi In addition to what John says, I would think that if you did not have any problems editing (and rendering to DVD which probably created the disc image to the default C:\ drive folder) then you should not have any problem creating an HD disc

  MEP 17+ is quite an "old" version, especially when used with Win 8.1!  I suspect your MEP cannot "see" the burner because of this latest OS. However, you should be able to burn a disc image (use the Image Recorder option on the burn screen) and
