What are valid import formats for VideoEasy SE?
Tried to import video from file into SE 1.0.4.3 .MOV from an iPhone4 said it didn't support this. tried AVI, same answer. Tried MPEG2 and MKV and it crashed.

Hi Assuming you are wanting this format for exporting to an iPhone or iPad, then click File, Export to Device, Smartphone, Apple, Apple iPhone/iPad. Change the setting of the format as shown in the image below. Change the aspect ratio

Without knowing what format iphone5 videos are I suspect you will need to convert the files first to a format which MEP recognises before you can import them to the program. (I don't own any version of the iphone so can't check this.) So,

Yeah, I figured that out. But after checking, I see that the 'Extract sound from videos' box was in fact alredy checked, so that's not the problem. Like I said, other video files are coming in fine WITH sound, and even other MOV files coming in

Yes, I'm getting sound from everything else that I import to Magix INCLUDING other MOV files from other sources. And like I said, these MOV files are playing fine in Quicktime on the same machine. I was able to work around the problem for now

Hi The iPhone video file is not a 'standard' format that MEP 14 can open - you need to convert the video in to format that MEP14 can handle. HTH John

Website Maker is a flash based product, on some devices it will not show (like iPhone or iPad) as they do not support Flash. When it is not working, it is worth making sure that the computer or mobile device has the latest version

What is the format of your iPhone video. As an Apple product it is likely be a Quicktime .MOV file so you would might need to have a Quicktime player installed on your computer to get the proper codec. A search for 'quicktime' here will give you
