It depends on what your final goal is. As concerns the size of the file:1. AVI is just a container the video codec you use will determine the compression.

Exporting to AVI has Audio Aync Problems
I'm trying to export my movie to an AVI or an MP4 in MEP 12. No matter what setting, no matter what codec I use, simply no matter what, the audio is always out of sync with the video right off the bat, and it gets progressively worse as the movie
