[Solved] Last used preset for Effects and Processes

In Sound Forge 17 I have encountered an strange issue. When I apply an Effect or Process on a file and I use a presset, next time when I am opening the same EFX or Process I have to select that presset again because it changes to another presset.

@Gus_2030 I suspect the audio issue is with the 24 bit level rather than the codec - try recording 2 channel 16 bit and import this into VPX. HTH John EB

If you're playing MP3 (or another lossy format) try enabling the 'Always proxy compressed formats' option in the "Options> Preferences> General" menu. If that's no help, experiment with a different buffer playback setting but I am not sure

Voiceover Gate zeroes out the audio

it's a i7-11800H 11th gen, 2.3ghz. I've also tried letting it encode on the primary monitor (there's 3) as MS has had issues in the past if it's on the 2nd LCD (my largest, widest LCD) and the PC goes into screen lock, MS crashes.
