  Hi there, Definitely not a Vista problem per se. Just some recording latency that is the result of various factors, including sound hardware, sound drivers and program settings. Make sure to configure your Music Maker 12 to use ASIO drivers.

  Make sure to use ASIO drivers. You can configure that in the program settings of Music Maker. Switch the driver model to ASIO and configure the Magix Low Latency option as generic ASIO driver, if your sound hardware doesn't provide its own ASIO
