Hi . . . . Clearly, you will need a BD writer rather than a DVD writer to burn the actual disc. . . . Well actually you don't, providing your movie is less than 20 - 25 mins long you can burn a BD movie to standard DVD disc in a DVD

RE: I get the following Magix Movie Edit pro error while burning DVD
Hi What is your D drive?  At which point in the burning does this occur?  Can post the section of the error log showing the error? If you have a computer with a single hard drive then the D drive is usually the DVD burner - if this is the case

RE: After burning copy of created video why does my dvd player say "Disc is incompatible"?
Prudie, If I need an extra copy I usually just use the software that came with my DVD burner (Nero). Though I only have a single drive I'm prompted to insert original and copy at the appropriate times and all goes well. If the original was

fhules, Check on DVD sizes on wiki, almost certainly your video came from a 'double sided' DVD and your DVD burner is single sided with about half the capacity. If you say more about the specs of you computer those with more knowledge will surly

Hi, If you are using the Magix burner, try using a different one such as Imgburn http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn it instead and see if you still have the problem.  If you are not using the magix burner be careful if you are using Nero, DVD Flick

RE: How can I save a movie to finish it later?
Hi You may have issues using MEP 15 on Windows 8, the most common one being unable to burn a DVD because the burner is not recognised - updating the Burn routines does not fix this - MEP 15 is not compatable with Windows 8. If this happens you

lars51500, Does any other program recognize and properly burn to you DVD drive? A possible workaround is to choose 'Image Recorder' option and then burn the image using another program like Nero or Imgburn (it's free). See more on this

lars51500, Where are you looking for options? The Image recorder isn't available until you hit the big 'Burn' icon and choose your disc type. The default is usually your burner drive eg 'E:...' -- pick the image recorder from the dropdown

Hi @YR . . . . but you need to use 2 identical brand name of DVD burner . . . .  Using Nero 12 I disagree. I have used   1 x LG DVD, 3 x Pioneer DVD (two different models) and 1 x Sony DVD writer  - all internal  - simultaneously  to burn a
