Anirban, Chroma is listed under 'Effects' >> "Chroma key. Apply it to your overlay loop which is placed under the clip (higher track number) to which the flash is to be applied. Notes: There are sliders to change the

RE: Optical Flares / Light Leaks
Hi Anirban The 'flashes' and effects are added videos sometimes overlayed on the main video or used a transitions. There are many free sources of such video loops available on the Internet. John

RE: using edit pro 17...my greenscreen shots look great on preview / playback, but the green screen overlat is missing when I brn to disc
I assume you are needing to remove a deliberately green background and substitute a "new" background for a shot? Have you placed the track with the video whose background you want to remove below that of the background you want to use (on the

RE: How does it possible to make? More details below.
First of all, thank you for your answers, both of you! But I'm affraid I could not describe my plan clearly. I had no time, when I wrote that post. Very simplified descripton. I would like to overlay different time created snapshots onto video.

Hi Peter pipped me to the post AFAICS, and I think this is another way of putting what Peter said, the effect is an 'invisible' overlay ie what you see in the preview monitor is the result of the image being preprocessed through the filter

RE: No Video Level Percent - Pro X 6
It's a real shame. I was on the verge of buying Pro X6, but decided to test the trial version first. Can't say in all honesty I'll be sticking with Magix for much longer. Kinda hoped they'd add numeric values to the Chroma Keying, Threshold and

RE: Blurring or somehow removing the head of an actor in underlying video so I can place another "head" in it's place
AA4362, You might be able to get what you want by combining two effects -- pixelate (or better simply blur) the background face and then overlay ;your foreground head. I think there is not way to completely eliminate any background head showing,

RE: Blurring or somehow removing the head of an actor in underlying video so I can place another "head" in it's place
Hi. You could try this: The new head you wish to use should be taken against a PLAIN GREEN background - a medium tint of green is best - and then positioned in the appropriate VIDEO OVERLAY track. When you have done this, use the CHROMAKEY

RE: TV Viewing
Hi Anirban The loss at the edges is a result of TV cropping - with old CRT TV this could be as much as 10 - 12 % of the total image width. With LED TV this is about 2 - 5 % depending on the manufacturer. MEP has a TV overscan overlay you can

RE: in Movie edit pro 2014 exported and reimported frames change color
Of course the single frames are exported using JPG, the MP3 was just a bad typo. I work with a variety of audio/video formats and often deal with MP3, so there was an accidental mislabeling. But for editing purposes I also have to export in
