Why when I play back my song on MM premium I get distortion, static, and the screen freezes.

Sometimes when playing back a song I get distortion or static. What is that and how do you fix it?

Thanks to you both, John & George. I thought I'd hit a rather large brick wall. When I play the clips on my PC, the sound is pure static, unlike when I played them back on the camera prior to transferring them (and subsequently deleting them).

Hi Thank you for the error log - that helps a great deal. Which DVD menu are you using in this project? I suspect it may be one of the animated ones - IIRC MEP15 has some issues with some of the animated menus. Try using one of the static
