RE: I have MMM premium 2016. When I select strings from Loops - Score-Dramatic Stories and play it on my midi controller, all I hear is a piano. How can I record the Loop sounds? Windows 10.
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean. Loops are Soundpool loops and are pre-recorded audio or midi files. You don't record them. To record using your midi keyboard/controller, you have to select an instrument first. Then play. Did you set up your

    RE: Microphone and Midi keyboard
Well, first of all, it would be helpful if you told us the make and model of your keyboard, how you've hooked it up (the connections), and what you're trying to record (audio or MIDI). Secondly, unless you have an audio interface capable of

RE: Magix Musicmaker 2015 Premium - How do I add dynamic changing effects to midi or audio loop to make more interesting
There are 2 other things that I thought I should mention. 1. If you have a MIDI controller like Gary, you should be able to link the controls on the keyboard to various controls on screen, like instruments. I don't have any controls on my

Hi, Did you arm the track for MIDI and select an instrument? By "keys" I presume you mean the piano keys and not control knobs or sliders.

    RE: [Closed] Hardware Controller Mapping
I know, but that's not what I wanted.... unless you know a way to save the chosen Tom's and HiHat's to specific pads you choose on your hardware controller this way? It's not in the manual.   What I meant was to customize the hardware

    [Closed] Hardware Controller Mapping
Hi all,   Is there a way to map the controls of my midi keybaord? I want to use the pads to assign them in a drum VST plugin. Normally it should be possible via the 'customize controller' tab in the midi controller configuration panel, but

RE: [Closed] How to turn off velocity sensitivity from Midi Keyboard
Hi, Samplitude Pro X2 has features to change the velocity, but only after recording. There is an offline screen to set the value, and a command to apply a fixed value. I don't have SMS 2016, only 2015 and Pro X2. I don't see the same features in

Hi @John CB A little bit of history (as I remember it ) The term Patch comes from the old days of analog synthesizers where you had literally loads of knobs and switches ( well the one I built did and looked somewhat like this one ) which

RE: Can I cheat and download midi files for single instruments instead of creating my own?
Hi, By all means go ahead. The problem will be with multi-track or channel midi files. Everything gets dumped onto 1 track in MusicMaker, as far as I can find, so multi-tracks with different instruments are not split into separate tracks.

RE: Electric Guitar won't work with "Power Guitar" in Magix Music Maker 2014
Hi From what you are saying you appear to be confusing guitar audio which is anaolog with midi which is digital. The QY100 is a sequencer and does not convert an analog signal to MIDI data, it may be capable of converting audio to digital for

Hi Nick That is true, however you do have the advantage of a full 5 octave + 1note range whereas a 49 key controller has only a 4 octave range + 1 note. This does save using the octave up/down keys for those moments you need that extra bit of
