Movie Edit Pro Imporvement Requests and Feature Suggestions
I've been with Magix since MEP 11 on my old single core WindowsXP computer and now have MEP 17 on my new quad core, Windows7, HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. I generally like most things about the program, but one problem persists - the preview stutters.

I have difficulties to see that you can improve the quality of an MPEG-file by changing the parameters. If your recordings come from a DV-camera (tape), I thing it is a better idea to transfer the files as DV-AVI, which is lossless. This

Error Message after capturing: "Many frames were dropped while capturing. You can avoid this by reducing capture quality. I am attempting to capture from a Sony VX2100 DV Tape using an EasyCap USB into a Toshiba Quad4 i7 Windows 7 Home Premium laptop.
