RE: How do I pull certain parts of a DVD out of a football game on DVD
You would need to load the entire VOB and edit out just that material you want. You could also capture the DVD video during playback if you have a analog capture card and your DVD player connected to that, but you will lose quality doing it that

That is how DVD is unfortunately. The DVD which I assume is a video of the band is written in a format that might not be accessible to the Music Maker program. The file will be in a .vob format. Unfortunately, I am not sure how to get that

RE: .vob File Import in PhotoStory 8
As you suggested, I tried converting the .vob file to an MPEG-2 format, and importing the file to PhotoStory.  The .mpg file displayed and burned correctly.  It does appear that the program will not support .vob files.  Thanks for the terrific

RE: .vob File Import in PhotoStory 8
I am not sure that the PhotoStory program can use .vob files, that might require a video editor to put the .vob into a .mpeg format. I looked online for system specs, but I could not find PhotoStory 8, the accuracy of the information below could

If it is a DVD you created and has no copyright protection on it, you can load the VOB file, if it is copyright protected, it will not be read by the Movie Edit Pro as there is laws against the circumventing of copyright protection. There are
