Ok, with Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus.... Are you running this in a Windows 7 machine? If yes, the issue might just come down to compatibility. I think with Movie Edit Pro 14, it was only a Vista 32 application, thought I am sure it ran in Vista

It could be that you do not have the correct codec for the mp4 files, or maybe the Movie Edit Pro 14 does not recognize that format. Where did the mp4 you have come from?

I do not think that Movie Edit Pro 14 is compatibile with Windows 7. You can try this though... insert the disc for Movie Edit Pro 14 in the computer and close anything that auto-opens. You then will go to the "Start" button of windows,
