RE: Problem with Movie Studio Edit 2024 Platinum
@Robert-Doherty Hi Robert. You may feel like you don't know much but at least you managed to produce screen grabs and post them to your reply. That is more than a lot of people who post problems to these forums can do. So I don't think you will have

RE: HEVC compression artifacts
@AAProds Hi Al. That file has been videoed in portrait orientation. Did you turn it 90º anticlockwise as @nicolesharp100 did for export? That has turned out to be a bit of a pain to do in VPX 14. I thought I would just be able to use one axis but it

RE: Updated Video Card...
@runforrestrun Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. I doubt very much whether an upgraded video card would directly affect the performance of Music Maker; I suspect what you are seeing is purely coincidental. However, because of the lack of

RE: What is most important to have in a video editing PC build using Magix
@Tusk Hi Tusk. This may be controversial and spark some comments but uniquely the Magix products thrive best with two GPUs, especially when you start editing and adding some of the third party effects to 4k and possibly UHD video and above. On the

RE: [Closed] MAGIX Movie Studio 2023 Suite crashes
@johnebaker That is what I was wondering John. For the sake of other people my apprehension is down to the fact that CPUs seem to have hit the limit as to how high they can be clocked. We have been hovering around the 5GHz mark now for some

RE: [Closed] MAGIX Movie Studio 2023 Suite crashes
@childgrove @AAProds, @CubeAce Hi . . . . . but I don't accept that an HP Pavilion with the specs I cited and purchased November 2021 is too old a machine for the software. . . . . . . . . . It is not possible to "improve" a program so that, after

RE: [Closed] Feedback on Movie Studio 2023
@pmikep Hi Mike. I'm not aware of VPX having had more bugs than MEP / VPX. I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me. The offer price is more for VPX. Nearer $60 than $35, but as a percentage against buying it normally is a much better offer.

RE: Anyone uploading the 2023 Movie Studio ?
@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . . I can't take advantage of Intel® Hyper Encode as my motherboard and CPU do not have resizable bar which would stop me from using the useful part of an Intel Graphics card so no real speed improvements for me at least. . .

RE: Proxy files problem | "Creation of a proxy not required"
@CubeAce, TotalFX7 is an OFX plugin, so it would be in Vegas, and if you had Resolve, it would be there also. You don't have to do anything unless it wasn't installed in Vegas, so a reinstall will put it there. This is an area where Magix needs to

@Hexenhammer Upgrade from what? I don't think the Trial version has HEVC support include, there's a small fee for the HEVC codec, about £5 i think but it's a one time purchase, I bought mine a long time ago. I've got lots of software but i still

@AAProds Hi Al. Technically you don't have to reduce the monitor down to 50% and can still grab the corners of the clip but I reduce the view in the monitor for two reasons. I can see the outline of the clip and also judge how much I have expanded

@Kam-Srikameswaran I have to agree with @Reyfox about the specs. After looking at the specs for your CPU it may be the processor is too old as it says at one point. F16C / 16-bit Floating-Point conversion instructions and if I remember correctly

@Reyfox Hi. Yes I got Total FX with VPX 14 but although it downloaded Titler Pro 7 it stayed with the Titler Pro 6 within VPX. MEP 2022 doesn't use it either but just checked Vegas Pro 18 and it is installed in that. What? No idea why that happened

RE: How to export a movie in portrait format (for upload to Twitter)
@liam-jeffs That's a good card, much better than my own. Both VPX 14 and MS 2023 are quite resource hungry and the minimum specs on the website should be fully implemented for best performance and experience. It may read as an Intel or nvidia AMD /

Ultimately you're at the mercy of the plugins you're using. Not all plugins/synths support multiple cores. Looking at the online help, enabling Track Buffering also enables multiple cores, so should split processing up across additional cores per
