  @Hackemesser A .PNG sequence would be a series of stills similar to the Targa sequence but it may be better quality. AFAIK Blender should be able to produce this. MEP uses .png 32bit Alpha files for it's included overlay effects. To make the series

  I have tried some old tests with compressed files and none of them will reveal the Alpha channel in MEP. Uncompressed AVI 32bit is the only video format that works on my systems. A TGA image sequence works and might be a solution for you seeing it
