  Most formats I try aren't readable (usb plugged into LG DVD player, feeding viewsonic). Many combinations end up in some error or another in external codec.

  @hatfieldphoto There are certainly plenty of 10 bit monitors and TV screens out there now from Samsung and LG. It could be worth while using one of them to edit on but as I say, to take advantage of that you may have to upgrade the computer as well.
