RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
The movie is "The Leathernecks have landed" and the frame should be 4:3. Yes the sidebars are burned in. The original had been transferred to digital from an unknown source, possibly a 16mm movie, but could have been captured from a TV broadcast. It

RE: Video Pro X and Vegas Pro exports
@doug_mccarron To answer your question about .VOB files: these are created when a DVD export is produced. They are the actual "video" files which are present on a DVD-Video disc. To create them in VPX you would need to export your project to DVD.

@doug_mccarron Hi Doug, We seem to have strayed from your original topic. So be it. You mentioned VOB files way back and I had a thought. VPX and some other programs allow multiple language audio tracks that, when creating a DVD, add a Language

    RE: Aspect Ratio Query
@Xenofex2 Greetings George, all suddenly becomes clear. The IFO file that you have the MediaInfo of is really just an instruction sheet for the DVD player or computer or DVD player or whatever you are using That's why it's so small. If you have the

Hi, Not sure where I am now so to re-check. I don’t have any DVD, just an IFO file for the whole Movie, and five VOB files where someone has just split the original recording into five, regardless.  The original which I watched on the PC was the IFO

RE: Burning more than one DVD from a movie project
Thanx AAProds. I still wanted to find another way of doing this without Nero or another app like that. I found out that Movie Studio creates a 'Disc images' folder where it keeps all the .BUP, .IFO and .VOB files you need to create a DVD. So I just

@Bigangbo Bigango, welcome back and sorry to hear of your troubles. This is a big call. Get guarantee a good VHS transfer/capture, you would be looking at a SVHS VCR, around 300EUR, depending on where you are living. Then, you'll need a digitiser

@dan_lachance You can indeed burn multiple copies using MEP. I don't have access to MMS 2023 so it may have changed recently but in the older versions (2021), simply go through the burn process again. You'll eventually be presented with this

@Bigangbo @CubeAce Putting this back onto a DVD after enhancing won't be a problem. Join the 3 VOBs on the timeline, edit (if not already edited) then burn. Each VOB, by definition, is 1048mb maximum and a standard DVD has a capacity of 4.7gb so

@Bigangbo I have access now, thanks. I must say, noise-wise, it is a very good recording; given the era it was taken, the camera must have bee a good one. I don't think Neat video will do much to improve that aspect of it. I'm playing with the video
