  Go to effects and use the SIze/Position. You can resize the image and move it accordingly.  Alternatively you can also go to Effects---Collage

  Magix Movie Edit Pro MX doesn't INSTALL CORRECTLY
  I had problems with red giant quick looks so I un installed Magix when I tried to re install it I noticed the movie templates were gone except for 'blockbuster"  other design elements were alse gonce like the collages or the rain, fog ect effects.

    Hi Terry, Jeff I think this is a normal acttion of MEP, it has to have somewhere to put all the neceesary components together - I believe different parts come from different templates/file locations so they are assembled together

     Found the answer myself clicking around in the program. It appears that not all of the "Effects" and option are download with the main program installer. To make PhotoStory fully functional you have to click on "Free Updates" in the Help

  I don't think you can automatically sort the photos randomly. However MEP does a great job with photo shows. Take a look at the collages and the slideshow maker MEP does have a sceny overview which can make it easier to sort your photos
