While I anxiously wait for AP9 to get fixed so that I can use it, I want to have the same version of AP8 on my laptop & desktop. 8.0.7 (Build 233) 64-bit is the stable version on my desktop. I want to install that version on my laptop but when I

RE: MPEG-4-Codec
I've been using earlier versions of Movie Edit Pro for many years. I just purchased the upgrade of Premium version 18.0.1.213. I can't get it to load any MPEG-4 files. When I try to load a file I get a pop up that says "The program needs access to a

RE: MP3 support ?
If I understand correctly, you're highlighting how beatmapping on an MP3 file very often drifts. Also you may notice that when you zoom in an out on many MP3 files the waveform will skip/glitch at certain zoom levels. This used to be a problem on

RE: Acid Pro 9.0.1 (24) crashing after installing new build version
Acid pro 9 keeps crashing at boot for me as well, I have uninstalled it a few times already and it seems to work fine until the acid update is installed then it starts to crash at boot again. Is this happening to anyone else? I am also having the

RE: AP9 Beatmapper & Zoom issues
Beatmapping in AP9 appears to be utterly broken. I have tracks made with AP7 and AP8, neither of which will line up in AP9 at all. I am hoping that a fix is in the pipeline, but asking Magix support about this is like talking to an unresponsive

I'm having this same problem... Did a clean install from scratch, Deleted everything in the /user directories. I could get it to run a couple of times after reinstalling it, then I'll fire it up only to have it stop loading and blank out after

AP8.0.8 soft synth plugin was not found or did not load properly
Hello All, First time poster, but I have been following some of the concerns with the Acid Pro 8 update. The concern I have is that I have seen others have the same issue of "Soft Synth Plug-in was not found or did not load properly" from their

RE: Acid Pro pros and cons - tell me what you think about.
Thing I like about Acid is the ease of "painting" a track compared to other DAWs I've used. It is so intuitive, but maybe that's just because I started with Acid. AP8 seems to have been put out half baked though. I still can't load presets from some

RE: ACID 9.0.1 and Beatmapping
@mellotronworker is the rendered file, and any associated project created in AP9? I ask as I have seen some odd issues with files from AP7, for example, where the beatmapping information was corrupt. Multiple downbeats, and inconsistent bars shown

RE: [Feedback] How do you like version 8.0.8.29 ?
That one is probably just an issue with their CMS web app (content management system), not an issue with the software itself. Anyway I guess I will wait for AP 10 or 11 before "upgrading".

RE: [Feedback] How do you like version 8.0.8.29 ?
AP 8 works for me in a stable way, there are small problems but not as troublesome as in AP9. Today when loading the program at the banner display point with the purchase of a newer version, something like this appeared:

I've been using AP9 since it launched, and have had minimal issues........the initial loading of VSTs is still a bit of an issue, but a rescan upon loading, loads any of the missing VSTs .........
