RE: Problem with Video Pro
@JuanCarlos-Martinez Hi and welcome to the user to user forums. In theory your system should be coping but I'm not sure due to your GTX 1650 would be an M version without it's own graphics processor port so in theory has to run via the Intel HD

RE: Lagarith Lossless Codec
@jak.willis My guess would be, and it is a guess, that Lagarith is still recording each pixel separately but how the pixel data is represented may be written differently using slightly less code. It is a 'lossless' codec. There is at present no way

RE: Non-standard Export Frame Rate in MP4.
@johnebaker Hi John. I think you misread Richards quote. I think they were talking about being able to edit video footage. Perhaps they were referring to VHS tapes? Certainly cutting a tape that was helical scanned would have been challenging at

RE: Non-standard Export Frame Rate in MP4.
@Richard-Curtis Hi Richard. I have found over time that sometimes a work flow method that did not work previously will sometimes work better in a new program or worse depending on what has been done internally to the software and how capable the

RE: Rendering video in Movie Studio 18 Platinum
@brent-harmon Glad to hear you have resolved what you are wanting to do, albeit with an additional purchase! However, unless former versions of Movie Studio include some kind of "black magic" feature I'm honestly not sure whether upscaling the

@browj2 From what we see on the forum here John and based on how I see my system react in the task manager I would personally definitely want an Intel GPU alongside an nvidia graphics card for both playback and export. I have never seen a previous

RE: Rendering video in Movie Studio 18 Platinum
@brent-harmon Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. You will see I have moved your post to the Movie Edit Pro forum area since Movie Studio 18 is, essentially, a rebadged version of MEP. In order to be able to answer your question we really need

RE: [Closed] TIMESTRETCH - How to speed up audio, maintain video sync?
@VideoPro You asked essentially the same question here, to which you received several replies detailing how, in an admittedly slightly limited fashion, this could be done. So why have you reposted the question? No-one is going to be able to tell you

RE: BIT RATE QUESTION
@VideoPro It doesn't help as whenever you edit there is always some loss of quality if you have to export to 'lossy' codec such as MP4 or HEVC as the video gets re-compressed each time it is generationally re-edited. (IE. the edited copy is then at

RE: BEST SETTINGS FOR LATENCY?
@VideoPro I'm going to deviate from John CBs reply and say it is a bit more complex than that in my experience due to the way video editors seem to work. I have all but given up with doing live mixing within MEP or VPX due to latency issues in real

Thanks. I will work on the updates and will work on moving the files off of the C drive. I'm not using 4K footage or HEVC (H256) footage. I also checked the RAM while I was using the program and it never spiked above using 5-6GB (total for the whole

RE: While editing, audio doesn't start right away.
@Azzizzi Hi. You can try reducing the number of audio buffers from the preset number of four down to two in the program setting but it may not work or be unstable. It's beginning to sound like your computer is close to not complying to the minimum

RE: Renders play back on half speed
@daydreamer11 Your problem is probably with the files captured by OBS Studio which by default will be recording variable frame rate video which video editors can't cut and maintain audio sync to. There is little movement within the frames in that

Sorry. I forgot mention the source. This footage was shot on five cameras all set to 1080p 59.94 and switched at a Black Magic Atem 4k switcher going into a Magewell SDI capture card and recorded on OBS. I guess it could not be more of a mess, but

@kate-m Hi Kate. I take it you mean the shallow dof (Depth Of Field) and silky bokeh that can be the hallmark of some cinematic experiences. π. While a full frame camera with lots of photo-sites can be ideal for stills due to the resolution, 4K
