RE: how to cut & edit a scene
Jade, highlight the particular scene and go to pages 33/34 of the manual. Find the spot where you want to make the split. Hit + to expand the scene if necessary. Decide if the part you want to delete is before or after the position marker. Expand

RE: Interrupted sounds in MMM 12
You'll need to explain more and include your PC system specs. There's no way one could possibly answer with the information you have provided. Does the sound skip at the same spot all the time or is it random? How are you recording? Which

RE: Is it possibel to apply effect on selection (area) of footage ?
Hi there, Applying an actual video effect (e.g. mosaic/pixelation) to only a selected area of the video footage is not possible. What you should probably go for is basically putting an overlay image/object over the part of the video you want to

[Closed] how to mark a spot in Magix 12 Music Maker?
Simple thing - need to mark places in a composition without changing the start/stop position; for example, I am creating a drum and bass track to go along with Tequila Sunrise for a band, and I need to cue the beginning of each verse with a cymbal

RE: import data from a backup on a harddisc from jvc everio camera
Hi, You should have a look at the actual file extensions and file sizes to establish which files hold the actual video/audio information. There are probably a bunch of additional meta files in there that won't have any meaning in the context of

[Closed] How can I remove/change the audio that comes with an effect?
I have recently (with rev 8) been more interested in using effects, however I do have a problem finding the "spot" where I can remove or change the audio that appears to be integrated in a some of the effects, like intros and the like. Any idea?

RE: [Closed] I have a JVC that records .MOD files. I renamed them to .MPG, but when I try to open it in edit pro 14, it tells me there is an error in module MPEG2.DLL
Are .mod files really .mpg files? That is something you need to ask JVC... renaming a file can destroy its structure, it is possible that the MPEG2.DLL cannot read the format... yet you have fooled Windows in thinking the format is

RE: Content Packs?
When you download content packs and install them as per instructions, they are automatically installed to where they belong. You won't find any folder called content pack. What you do find though, is more keyboards, or guitars etc, when you check

RE: MOVIE EDIT PRO 14 PLUS sound problem in edit
I just talked to someone with about the same problem. Be sure that the sound is not all the way up... Take a look in the sound mixer on the program, and click on 'FX' where the clip is. EX. a music file is in spot 1, click on the first 'FX' on

RE: [Closed] (MEP14) Freezing frames before transitioning to the next scene?
I have V.12 but it's probably the same. Here's what I do. Go to file-export movie- single frame as mpg. Capture a jpg at the spot you want the freeze and insert it in the movie for as long as you want the freeze.

RE: burn in movie edit pro 12
Hi again, Thanks for further clarifying this. After your initial enquiry, I was under the impression that it was some program settings or usage related problem regarding the correct creation and encoding of movies specifically with a 16:9 aspect

RE: Deleting a video section?
When I want to remove a portion from my videos, I just scrub to the spot that I want to remove and on the control bar where the play and stop buttons are, right next to it is the split scene, I slice one end... move to end of the piece that I don't

What do you use for sound isolation?
I have been tinkering around for a few years on a low cost alternative for sound isolation. I have discovered that thick wool army blankets are pretty effective for deadening an area. I was just wondering if anyone else had any ideas for making a
