RE: Magix Edit Pro MX Plus - burning a DVD
It might be worth trying the burn with a different program. I've never had reliable burning using MEP over the years (MEP11 to MEP MX). I don't think its burning software supports a wide enough range of CD/DVD drives. So, my solution is to

If you go to "file" then "settings" then "movie you should get this dialogue box bottom right corner you should be able to set the frame rate to whatever you want. Not sure why your burner company is telling you you must use 29.976 because

RE: Can I burn a dual lay disc with this version? If so How?
Not sure about MEP15, but MX Premium and VPX can both burn D/L DVDs.  Do you have a burner on your computer capable of making D/L discs? Alternatively, if MEP15 cannot burn direct, can you create a Disc Image and then use that to create your D/L

RE: Can I burn a dual lay disc with this version? If so How?
Interesting question.  I cannot find anything in the MEP specs that talk about dual layer burning.  You might want to ask Magix tech support this question.  However if you already have a dual layer burner, it probably came with mastering and

RE: How do you solve inability to burn a DVD-R using downloaded music via Magix Slideshow Maker?

RE: How do you solve inability to burn a DVD-R using downloaded music via Magix Slideshow Maker?
This isn't really the support department, it's a user-to-user area. I am pretty sure none of us are able to decipher the error. But you are saying that this is a DVD-R when in the error it is saying that it is a DVD+R... 26/06/2012 7:55:02

Hi Not a lot of info about your computer spec! However assuming the computer is relatively modern and the burner is found by other software then the problem may be that MEP is too old to recognise the burner. You can try updating the Burn
