  The answer to this is to download a demo of FLStudio. This gives access to the FLStudio ASIO driver. This allows more programs than Music Maker to access the soundcard.

  Acid 10 pro trial render files do not play
  Long time and current sony acid 7 user here. Downloaded the trial version of acid pro 10 and am trying to figure it out a bit. Did some quick demos and rendered to Wav file. the files open and show a complete waveform but they do not play at all.

  I've never been able to get ASIO4All to allow other programs to use the computers audio at the same time as Music Maker. I use the FLStudio ASIO and this does work. You can download a demo of FLStudio which should give access to the FLStudio ASIO.
