    Magix movie edit pro 14 - Half my avi movies are loading on the preview screen, very laggy program, random "this program is not responding"

    How can I edit AVCHD files ?

    What is wrong with Movie Edit Pro 14?
    This is the latset glich. When I import a simple .avi movie, I get the audio but the video is a coloful version of old static TV after hours. Nothing! The software must be corrupt so unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to do an uninstall/reinstall

    Make sure to activate the Dolby Digital Stereo decoder in the program. This is necessary to decode Dolby Digital audio properly. You can find the option under the "Help" menu => "Activate additional functions" in Movie Edit Pro 14.

    Yes, that's true. In Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus, the Dolby Digital decoder is free, but the Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound is a paid activation (despite what may be in the manual).
