  getting error code 24 when trying to activate music studio 2015.
  I am sorry but  i need to respond to this! I have been trying to re-activate my music studio 2015 software for some time now ! I no longer have the computer  that i originally registered  it on. My old email address was Removed by Moderator .

  Hi Jeff, thanks for your reply. Yes the software will be very old now and I am trying to install in on my laptop which has Windows 10. On the TV Media Centre there is a MPEG 2 codec activation dialogue box where you can order a new activation code.

  @anthony-allman Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. That software is now very old and may not run under Win 10 (we assume that is the version of Windows you now have). What error message do you receive when you enter the activation code?

  @Tom-Bauer Hi Tom and welcome to the user to user forums. If you purchased the one from Magix it is an encoder. Not a decoder and used for exporting from MEP to HEVC. To play HEVC files within Movie Edit Pro you will need the Microsoft HEVC decoder
