RE: VHS made into DVD
@Bigangbo If you intend to put whole thing back onto DVD then I would suggest that you just do a straight copy of the original which would mean there would be no re-encoding or quality loss to what you already have. Any alterations made to a video

RE: Fail to adjust the frame rate for blue-ray disk (BD)
@dirkc_be Go through the Burn process and choose AVCHD. In the encoder settings, you'll find a 1080P50 option. Ignore the bit about "for SD card". I'm sure there are free programs for burning the ISO (see below) to a BD (I don't do BDs so I can't

My computer is brand new-- "built" by my local computer shop about one month ago (I thought I was upgrading to accommodate PS Deluxe). However, I will look into updating the burn drive. I need one clarification-- earlier John recommended using a

Thank you both for your suggestions. As Jeff suggested, I downloaded the latest Magix Burn Routines and tried to burn the disk again. Still no success. The blank disc is in the computer for about 10-15 second and then ejects. I am asked to insert a

Well, the good news is that's it is working properly now. The bad news is that it took several days of fooling around. But should anyone else read this, I'll go through what happened. First of all, the discs that I burned would not play on a BluRay

Fail to adjust the frame rate for blue-ray disk (BD)

@dirkc_be Hi. I think that Cyberlink Power Director will allow burning of Blu-ray disks at 50fps but you will get compatibility warnings. Ray.

@Bigangbo That would be a question more for @AAProds as I don't use DVDs or Blu-ray discs. Movie Studio is capable of burning to both DVD and Blu-ray if you have a DVD player / burner, but it's a function I have never really used. Google drive gives

RE: dvd burn will not play on dvd player (Movie Edit Pro 2022 Plus)
Hi John, thanks for commenting. This I know is an odd situation. When I burn the dvd disk using Magix, it seems to complete the burning cycle completely and opens the project to play using the DVD player on my computer. There is no message at all.

RE: Widescreen video not recording as widescreen.
@mark.s.witty @johnebaker @emmrecs We've speared off on a tangent thinking about HD. DVDs can be widescreen. The resolution, in this case, is still 720x576, but the files are flagged 16:9 (pixels are wider than tall😉). If your source video (a VHS?)
