RE: Rescue Your Video Tapes 6
Hi Dave The only thing that may interfere with copying a tape is as I said if they have a form of copyright protection on the tape itself, this is not the same as for DVD and Blu-ray discs. The old tape protection system use to interfere with

RE: Rescue Your Video Tapes 6
Hi This is a difficult one for two reasons:- 1. Some commercial videos had a form of copy prevention system to stop copying from VCR to VCR, whether this would affect digitisation only trying will tell. 2. Different countries

RE: Can I publish the music I make with the loops, etc.? No copyright infringement?
Sorry you are disappointed, but you are guilty of "assuming too much". Show us where it says on the box you can make and sell a "'hit" using the included soundpools. We all know it doesn't. But, as John noted, you CAN in fact do so using the

Hi To add to Procyon's answer the EULA's are also here - see section 6 in both http://www.magix.com/us/eula/consumer/ http://www.magix.com/us/eula/professional/ In a brief if you use any of the Soundpools you need the

Can I publish the music I make with the loops, etc.? No copyright infringement?
MM bills itself as a pro tool. From everything I gather, I am entitled to use any part of the software to produce, publish, and sale anything I put together using the loops and so forth like one would use materials to construct a project. The

RE: Multi Sound track problem when importing VOB file in MEP 17 Plus
I don't own and have never had MEP17+ but I think there must be a way to have the audio track(s) displayed separately from the video. If so, do you see three audio tracks, one for each language? Can you then mute the one(s) you don't want to

Multi Sound track problem when importing VOB file in MEP 17 Plus
Hi all... I use MEP 17 Plus version 10.0.12.2. If i try to import a VOB file into my project, and the VOB comes from a DVD that has more than one sound track, English, French and Spanish, then the file once on the timeline has no sound

Hi, Just so you know none of us here work for Magix, nor are we lawyers, so nothing we tell you is anything more than a personal opinion. In my opinion, if you created a original recording of someone's voice and that person has authorized you

RE: Does anyone know where to find royalty free music or open sourced music? Not file-sharing.
Hi, Carl has given you a great suggestion. There are many talented musicians here creating original material and the music categories that you mention are well represented in the show and discuss section. I have asked for permission to use

Corrective response? Are you referring to your other rant? If you are referring to my use of the word "incoherent", I was specifically referring to the audio track you offered as an example - not about what you said or how you said it. I'm

RE: Magix Music Maker - Getting Complete-Beginner's Success when trying to mash/ mix
An interesting piece, but a little incoherent I think. For someone to create even a basic tutorial for what you ask would take a great deal of time and effort. It would be better if you took the time to read the owner's manual and learn how to

What's so confusing about it? If you did not create it, then you have no "rights" to use it in any manner. Period. Even if it is not for commercial use, you technically need the copyright owners documented permission to use and distribute

Hi Mark, You don't really need to play all the instruments yourself, you just need to think about the way you are going to use the material. If you think your creation will be a million seller then yes you should probably have a copyright
